Refund and cancellation policy

Scope

This policy applies to professional audit engagements booked with Secure Flow Platform, including regulatory readiness audits, AML control walkthroughs, consumer disclosure reviews, and pre-examination dry runs. It does not cover products we do not sell, such as software subscriptions or physical goods.

Deposits

A 40% deposit confirms your fieldwork window. Deposits are applied to the final invoice. Deposits become non-refundable once fieldwork has started (document intake kickoff completed or first interview held).

Eligibility for refund

Full refund of amounts paid is available if we cancel an engagement for reasons within our control and no suitable alternative date is agreed. Partial refunds may apply when you cancel before fieldwork starts, subject to the timeframes below.

Client cancellation timeframes

• More than 14 days before scheduled kickoff: deposit refunded minus a NT$8,000 scheduling fee.
• 7–14 days before kickoff: 50% of the deposit retained; remainder refunded.
• Fewer than 7 days before kickoff: deposit retained in full.

Work already started

Once document intake or interviews begin, fees for time already spent are non-refundable. Unused portions of the engagement fee may be credited toward a rescheduled window within three months, at our discretion.

Rescheduling

One reschedule with at least 10 days' notice is permitted without an additional fee, subject to auditor availability. Further reschedules may incur a NT$12,000 administrative fee.

No-shows

If client attendees miss a scheduled kickoff or briefing without 24 hours' notice, that session is treated as delivered for scheduling purposes and is not refundable.

Non-refundable items

• Third-party travel costs already incurred for agreed on-site days, when cancellation occurs after tickets or lodging are purchased with your written approval
• Completed sample testing days
• Final reports already delivered

Refund process and method

Email hello@secureflowplatform.digital with your engagement reference, reason, and preferred contact. We confirm eligibility within five business days. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method within 14 business days of approval.

Exceptions

If an engagement letter states different cancellation terms for a specific project, the engagement letter controls. Force majeure events may allow mutual rescheduling without penalty.
