Fee tables that survive a consumer disclosure review
Consumer disclosure reviews catch mismatches more often than outright missing notices. A remittance fee shown as a flat amount on a marketing page and as a percentage in the app is enough to trigger a finding, even when both amounts are lawful on their own.
Build a single fee matrix that lists every charge a customer can encounter: transfer fees, FX spreads described in plain language, inactivity fees, and chargeback-related costs if you pass them through. Map each row to the screen or PDF where the customer sees it, and to the partner bank schedule if a bank sets the underlying rate.
When we review disclosures for Taiwan fintech operators, we also check the Chinese and English versions against each other. Slight wording differences in risk notices create avoidable questions during examinations and partner due diligence.
Update the matrix whenever product or pricing changes, and store the prior version. Version history is the evidence that your disclosure process is living, not a one-time launch artifact.
